Pulsifer has competed with or coached masters groups while living in Georgia, Virginia, Maine, and now North Carolina. He’s a seven-time U.S. Masters Swimming National Champion, and a 2013 Age-Group World Champion while placing 3rd overall for the men at the 2013 World Open Water Swimming Association’s 10-mile Championships in Newport, Vermont, contested in beautiful Lake Memphremagog on the Canadian border.
Andrew earned a Bachelor’s degree in broadcast communication studies frim Virginia Tech and a Master’s degree from Georgia State University in education & sports administration.
He and the family enjoy (to varying degrees) open water swimming, hiking, trail running, biking, paddle boarding, skiing, body and regular surfing.
