ANDREW PULSIFER
Seen here with Emily on beautiful Lake Lure, Andrew loves the water and Masters swimming and has coached college, club, triathletes, high school and masters swimmers over five different decades. He’s still refining his own strokes and helping others remember how awesome it is to swim whenever we have the chance.
Swimming with and coaching the Asheville Masters club for 17 years Andrew has enjoyed pool and open water masters groups for over 35+ years, and swimming with clubs for over 50 years! He’s a USMS Level 3 certified coach and and 7X USMS National Champion and an Age-Group World Champion at the 2013 World Open Water Swimming Association’s 10-mile Championships in beautiful Lake Memphremagog, Vermont ~ on the Canadian border. Andrew still loves to swim in open water, surf, paddle or play anywhere he can find it!
Calling Asheville home since 2008, Andrew is a professional REALTOR representing the local Be Realty Home Brokerage firm who truly enjoys helping people with all sides of a real estate transaction! On Wednesdays we have the coaching of Zachary Moody!

Zachary Moody joined Asheville Masters in May 2026 after completing his first year as the assistant coach at UNC Asheville. He moved to North Carolina after spending two years serving as a graduate assistant coach for the University of Akron Zips Women’s Swimming and Diving team.
In addition to his collegiate coaching experience, Zachary has spent time coaching for a USA Swimming club as well as swim camps at NC State, Wisconsin, and Ball State.
He started his coaching career after spending four years competing at Ball State University. We are glad to have him leading us regularly!
