Jocassee and Knoxville

Woowee, about 45 to 50 miles were swum in the open water this past weekend by Asheville Masters swimming folks!

The Lake Jocassee Jammers had calm and warm waters this year with relatively no breeze. Course was short based on previous years and times for all. The 2.4 miler became roughly 2.0 miles. The 1.2 became 1.0

Good to see some folks we don’t normally see during the week!

Meanwhile as the Saturday swimmers relaxed on Sunday morning, Misty Varnell (31st), Adrienne Kramer (58th) and Frank Kriegler (18th) all took off on a ‘casual’ downstream 10K at the Knoxville event Bridges to Bluffs!
