Lots Of Bubbles!

Labor Day, re-cap of Open Water events coming up, Swim Treks and Training Swims

We swim at our regular time of 5:45-7:15am on Labor Day Monday, as Asheville School has a regular schedule!

Many of our friends and lane mates have been putting in serious mileage training for open water events and swimming in far away places!

First up, Kathy R. was recently in Turkey on a Swim Trek adventure called “Hellespont and Dardanelles:  THE WORLD’S OLDEST SWIM” ! Looks like a lot of fun! Congratulations Kathy!

Local lakes have been getting lots of repeat visits from this crew…

In Lake Jocassee, Laura S. shows great front arm glide form -patiently waiting for right stroking arm to finish, exit, recover AND enter before left arm strokes downward🌞
Misty V. reaching the waterfalls in Lake Jocassee on a recent multi-hour swim.
Adrienne on a recent training swim, she recently finished a five hour and 15 minute session in preparation for a slew of races in the next six weeks!
It takes lots of supplies and kind & loving people who’ll commit to spend hours with you supporting you! This is Lisa K’s transport vessel!
