Hey swimmers, since we lost out on three solid weeks of our swimming time and had no easy alternate swimming options available the board has decided to offer your October payment as credit to be used one of three ways:
Option 1. If you paid a $60 monthly fee for October you may carry that credit over for November.
Option 2. If you have already paid $300 this year for your July through December fee, you may take $50 off of your six-month dues at the beginning of 2025 for a reduced Jan-June payment of $250.
Or, option 3. Put your $50 or $60 credit towards our one week matching fund push for James B., one of the security guards we see most mornings we pass through the gate, always with a smile and a hello! During Hurricane Helene, James’s residence was flooded and he lost most everything.
If you’d like your credit to be used towards this matching fund, our goal is to match donations up to $750 (trying to provide him with $1500), anything over $750 in donations from our swim members will be added onto the $1500 total.
If you’d like to Venmo the team any amount and in the memo put “security guard matching fund” we will make sure it gets to James!
