Upcoming Opportunities to Give!

Two events coming up that might interest you: *Jeff Weller’s annual Toys for Tots collection and *Adrienne Kramer’s endurance run for Old Fort.

Giving with unbridled joy looks like this 1970’s kiddo!!

Here’s what Adrienne Kramer is doing and a link to support those efforts below, in her words:

“Old Fort is one of the smaller areas of this region hit particularly hard by Hurricane Helene. The running and mountain bike communities have created ‘The Old Fort Endurance Festival‘ as a fundraiser to help the uninsured or not adequately insured with funds to rebuild.

“I signed up to do a 6-hour run on December 7th and I’m looking for contributions to this worthwhile cause. I did a half marathon on the trails of Old Fort in June and they were absolutely beautiful. I would love to donate my sweat and tears to help this town rebuild in the best way I know how – an endurance event!”

Check it out and sign up here to support Old Fort and Adrienne’s efforts!

From Mr. Jeff Weller:

Season’s Greetings Asheville Masters Swimmers!

This is the time of year when we pause to reflect on the many things in our lives for which we are grateful. It’s also an ideal time to consider ways we can make a positive impact in our community.

We have the pleasure of collaborating once again with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, serving as a drop-off location for WNC Toys for Tots.

If you would like to contribute a new, unwrapped toy, please bring your donation to the pool between Monday, December 25th and Friday, December 6th.

To celebrate the season we’ll be hosting an open house on Wednesday, December 4th, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at our office. Refreshments will be served. You are welcome to bring a guest.

If you plan to attend, please RSVP to Susan at 828-683-8400 by Wed, November 27th. We hope you can join us.

The address is Edward Jones, 929 New Leicester Hwy, Suite 9, Asheville NC 28806.

Thank you, ❤️Jeff
