** Water temperature 74° at the surface as of today. If you’ve been wanting to try out a wetsuit for Swimming this is the time. Air temp expected in the upper 50s, bring a warm beverage, we’ll have a set that keeps you moving. You can do this. Low to mid 70s when you’re outside is a lot easier than that same temperature indoors. Trust me.

This Sunday we have the pleasure of swimming at the Town of Black Mountain’s outdoor 25-yard pool on the edge of Lake Tomahawk from 6:30-8:30am.
We will alternate between this outdoor pool in Black Mountain and the waterfront at Biltmore Lake neighborhood in West Asheville/Enka for the next eight weeks leading us into September with the final two weeks after that being Lake swims leading up to Lake Jocassee’s open water event on September 20. So please come on out and enjoy swimming outdoors!
We’ll go in to the left side of the building – not through the building, and enter through a gate onto the pool deck. There are regular restroom facilities that we will access from the inside and there is hot water for showers.
