28 miles of Butterfly!

Six open water races this summer and fall season totaling 28 miles and Adrienne Kramer did it all butterfly! Does that make your shoulders hurt just reading that sentence?

Last weekend was the sixth and final swim in Adrienne’s personal series this year, the Southern Cross Open Water event in Ft. Myers Beach, Florida where each 1-mile loop of the 3.1 mile course got progressively windier and choppier, with the waves and wind pushing her body perpendicular to her path, Loop 3 was more of a challenge and of course, she fly’d on and did it!

The weather was beautiful! Air temp was in the 70’s-80’s… water temp was a comfortable 74.2 degrees. No wetsuit for this renegade.

CONGRATS πŸŽ‰πŸŽŠπŸΎ to this real life mermaid on maintaining her distance fly training in the pool so as not to lose too much of that long fly conditioning! Not an easy task!

We look forward to learning what she’s planning for the next 12 months!
