We have reached the 30 registered athlete minimum! The 9th annual Steve Barden Memorial Swimming Meet will GO ON, this Saturday, Sept 6th, 2014. We’d love to have you come join us. Won’t you please pass this along to someone you know? Can we top our record of 71 swimmers?
This year’s pool portion is sanctioned by USMS (sanction #134-S007) and we’ve added the 500 Freestyle to the event list.
In the afternoon, in lieu of our usual open water competition, we will have a fantastic All-Comers Lake Practice, with a potluck and /or BBQ following the workout, which you may pre-order online during registration.
This is not a competition, and we do not have a sanction from USMS, but you will still need to be a member of USMS, or sign a 30-day waiver. All training equipment is welcome at the lake practice, we encourage you to bring your favorite pair of fins, pull buoy and paddles🗾
