Congratulations to the very strong Asheville Masters Swimming contingent representing (us) at the Enka Triathlon this weekend! Beautiful weather, warm water, a bike course that is always a challenge, and an out-and-back run made for what sounds like a solid and fun event.
Adrienne Kramer, local guru of fixing people, and Larisa Barclay, in-house outdoorsy women of extraordinary calm, rocked the women’s side with 22nd and 30th place overall finishes, respectively. See all women’s results here!
Our professor of studliness, Brian Hooks was 11th overall and the good Doctor, our Dr. Greg Pollack came 36 overall. Men’s results seen here.
Well done, folks! Remember, this website does not, sadly, do videos… If you have a picture to share of an event you’ve been a part of, send it along and I’ll do my best to get it posted.
Glory Hound Events, brought to you by the awesome Greg Duff, has plenty of info about local events all season long! Get registered for something, and we’ll see you at the practice pool this week! Cheers, Coach Andrew
