Congratulations, Adrienne Kramer for completing six (6!) miles of Butterfly ☑️ in the Wando & Cooper Rivers in Charleston last Saturday.

This was the annual Lowcountry Splash swimming event of either 2.4 or 6 miles, with a bit of current to assist-in brackish water. Delightful!

Adrienne says (and right leg shows) she “got blindsided by a barnacle loaded metal buoy 😳. The conditions were great. Minimal wind, water temp 76F. I actually had trouble sighting because there was so much going on in my field of vision and being inthe back of the pack so many kayaks blocking my sight so it was a little weird to work around that.” AK
Here’s an amazing capture of Adrienne recently from the other SC swim.

Our friend Jimbo Cottam concludes his September That Dam Swim tomorrow, Sept. 30th and he’s currently at 245 miles as of today! That is in the 8+ miles per day vicinity and is astounding! If you’d like to make a pledge click on his website above.
Here is your Wednesday swim, have a great one see you there.
