Adrienne Kramer and Coach Andrew Pulsifer each participated in events in the past week+.
Adrienne swam a new event to her called The Long Bridge Swim in beautiful Lake Pend Oreille in Sandpoint, Idaho last Saturday!
The swim has a pedestrian bridge where spectators can watch their friends and family swim right by!

Of course she swam her trademark butterfly beautifully and finished in the top half of the pack!

A special award was presented for her dogged grit!

The week prior Andrew was up in Augusta, Maine to swim the open water portion of a half IRONMAN while his two sons take care of the biking and running!

Swimming down the Kennebec River at 6 AM, the race was deemed wetsuit worthy with a temperature of 73°F, but in the top 2 feet it was easily 78° plus.

Andrew wore his own wetsuit that was very tight in the chest and neck, making a full breath impossible, and after the first 50 strokes of freestyle, he did the remainder of the race backstroke without issues. The water was clear and black as tea. The sky was a beautiful clear blue!
Elder son Liam had a gearshift battery issue and after a mechanics help he completed the 56 miles in a single gear!, with increasingly faster splits averaging right at the 19 mph mark.

Younger son Zachary cranked out his best half marathon in a race, going 1:46 looking and feeling strong the whole way.

What a fun time to be able to race with your kids!
