A message from the Asheville Masters Swimming Board of Directors… “The board has met to review our income and expenses for the first quarter of 2015. Our expenses continue to exceed the income generated by current swim fees. To continue to offer a quality swimming venue with great coaching, we need to raise swimming fees as follows…”
Effective immediately, we will discontinue sales of 10-punch passes. All punches remaining will, of course, be honored.
Monthly fees will be $60 (for unlimited swims) due the 1st of each month. Everyone paying monthly will be on the 1st of the month schedule only.
For the second quarter of 2015 ONLY, a quarterly fee of
$150 may be paid, good through June 30. There will be no quarterly rates offered after this April opportunity.
Beginning July 1, six month fees will increase $25 to $300. Annual fees of $600 are now consistent with the six month rate.
All drop in swims for both out of town guests and locals will be $10.
Our attendance on a daily basis is currently being analyzed for trends, and it is important that all swimmer mark their presence each day. Days with significantly lower attendance rates are up for discussion.
More info on our summer pool facilities will be forthcoming soon, but currently we are searching for outdoor pool time at our preferred times, with clean water, 25 yards or 25/50 meters, lane lines, reasonable pool fees with no additional lifeguard fees.
We have had a very good deal with a couple of pools these past six years, and the closing of one (WWC) and the denial of the other (CCA) means we are actively seeking all of the above for your continued swimming pleasure.
