HEAT SHEET.12th Annual Steve Barden Memorial Swim Meet.2017
The 12th annual Steve Barden Memorial Swimming Meet will be held Saturday, September 9th, 2017 at the Asheville School Pool, a 25-yard course, warm ups at 8a and meet starts at 9am.
We’ll follow the meet with a social event on Saturday afternoon at The WEDGE at WEDGE STUDIOS located at 37 Paynes Way, Suite 001, in Asheville. 828.505.2792. This is the original location, with the El Kimchi food truck onsite at noon.
On Sunday morning, we’ll have a fun lake swim where you are encouraged to bring your equipment, SUPs and coffee! It’ll likely be a bit chillier in the water this weekend, so, bring a fleece to wear when you’re done swimming. After, we’ll head to West End Bakery in West Asheville.
Please consider taking part, in some form or fashion, and helping to make it a wonderful weekend of pool racing, socializing, lake swimming, eating and fun!
Come on out, it’ll be fun and not at all serious…unless a dude name Chris shows up, he’s usually really serious:) BUT, the rest of us are not. So, come play in our town and meet some fun folks!
