This Sunday we will offer a twofer!
We will have our regular Asheville School swim opportunity 630 to 8:30 AM, and then an Open Water swim at 9am at Biltmore Lake!
We will meet at the beach behind the clubhouse like we always have. Please bring an open water swim floaty as part of our requirement to swim here, similar to picture below attached to Laura Stuck at Lake Jocassee🌞.
If you need to order one, please do so -or check around to borrow. You can also run a string through a pool noodle and wrap that around your waist.
There is a Biltmore Lake Association waiver to sign once before you swim for the summer, and every time we head out we’ll have you sign-in with an emergency contact number and sign-out after you’re done, the second sign out is just as important as the first.
Please park along Lake Drive in front of the clubhouse, please do not park in the parking lot near the tennis courts.
We will have access to bathroom, but it’s just a toilet, please prepare to come ready to swim and if you’ll need to do a deck change please have adequate coverage.
We will have sporadic offerings of open water swimming this year as we need to piggyback with the existing Biltmore Lakes homeowners association open water swim group that is sponsoring us each time.
